ASK-O (Ask Online) is a digital marketplace platform that connects buyers, sellers, and independent delivery partners. ASK-O does not own, sell, manufacture, or deliver products listed on the Platform unless explicitly stated. ASK-O acts solely as an intermediary facilitating discovery, ordering, payment processing, and communication between users.
General Requirements (All Users):
Consumer Tier 4 - Standard Customers (No ID Required): Regular buyers may register using basic personal information (name, phone number, email). This tier is open to Cameroonian residents, foreign residents, tourists, and visitors. However, ASK-O may request identity verification if required by law, payment providers, or fraud prevention measures.
Verified Users (ID Required): Sellers, higher consumer tiers, and users accessing inventory management, market intelligence, analytics, payouts, or large-volume transactions must complete identity verification (KYC). Accepted documents include National ID card, passport, or valid visa/residence permit.
Sellers are solely responsible for: Accuracy of product descriptions, prices, and availability; Product quality, safety, and legality; Order preparation and readiness; Compliance with applicable laws and regulations. ASK-O does not guarantee sales volume, visibility, or profitability.
Buyers are responsible for: Providing correct delivery and contact information; Being reachable during delivery; Completing payments as required. Repeated refusal of deliveries or abusive behavior may result in account limitations or suspension.
Prices are set independently by sellers. ASK-O may charge service or commission fees, clearly displayed before order confirmation. Payments may be processed via Mobile Money or other approved payment methods. In some cases, ASK-O may temporarily hold payments to ensure successful delivery. Failure to complete payment may lead to order cancellation.
ASK-O operates in environments where formal addressing systems may not exist. Users acknowledge that location data may rely on GPS, administrative boundaries, landmarks, and user-provided descriptions. Delivery success may require direct communication and human guidance. ASK-O is not responsible for delays caused by unclear, inaccurate, or changing location information. Delivery partners operate independently and are not employees of ASK-O.
Cancellation and return policies vary by seller and product type. Refund eligibility depends on delivery status, seller policy, and applicable law. ASK-O may assist in dispute resolution but is not obligated to issue refunds unless legally required.
Users may not: Place fraudulent or false orders; Sell illegal, restricted, or counterfeit goods; Abuse sellers, buyers, or delivery partners; Manipulate prices, ratings, or reviews; Misuse payment or location systems. Violations may result in suspension, termination, or legal action.
All ASK-O branding, logos, software, designs, and content belong to ASK-O or its licensors. Unauthorized copying, modification, or distribution is prohibited.
To the maximum extent permitted by law: ASK-O is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; ASK-O is not responsible for product defects, delivery failures, or seller misconduct; Total liability shall not exceed the fees paid to ASK-O for the relevant transaction.
ASK-O may suspend or terminate accounts at any time due to violation of these Terms, fraudulent or harmful behavior, or legal or regulatory requirements.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Cameroon.
